302 Understanding Parliamentary Procedure
Just get elected to a Board of your school or club? Have you sat through a meeting wondering how to stop the endless discussions? Do your troop discussions need a bit more structure? Parliamentary Procedure is a tool to help a group effectively meet and make decisions in a democratic manner. This workshop will introduce you to the basics give you a chance to practice in a safe space. Esther A Heller, PRP has been a credentialed parliamentarian for over a decade. Her clients, including Girl Scouts of Northern California, appreciate the breadth and depth of her knowledge and that her wisdom is tempered with a sense of humor.

306 Managing Mental Health Needs: Younger Girls
Managing mental health needs in a troop can be a challenge. Leaders and volunteers of Daisy, Brownie, and Junior level troops are invited to attend this workshop where you can build your confidence identifying mental health behaviors.Learn what risk issues to look out for and how to appropriately manage them with your Girl Scouts and their parents. We will also discuss how to address the troop when they observe challenging disruptions from scouts triggered by trauma, stimming, tics, or extreme displays of strong negative emotions. We will talk about how to support gender expansive scouts. You will leave with a better understanding of how to support ALL of your Girl Scouts and parent volunteers.

Have you ever wanted to complete a Journey in a Day with your Girl Scout Troop? If so, this workshop is for you! Participants will be presented with three different Journeys in a Day (Junior, Cadette, Senior level), explore the journey planning and management process, and have some time at the end to connect with other level leaders in the session to brainstorm ideas. 343 Light Up Nicho
Make a metal embossed folk art frame! Add light and programming to transform a traditional art form, called a nicho, into a glowing tribute that honors something or someone important in your life. After embossing folk art designs into tin to make a shadow box frame we will light up your nicho by circuiting LED lights using conductive materials. This innovative project will have your scouts wearing their artistic and engineering hat all at once and will illuminate more than their art, It might spark a light bulb of ideas!

Do you want to offer your girls a great adventure and a chance to grow in competence and confidence? Take them Backpacking. This workshop is meant to introduce leaders to the logistics of preparing your troop for a successful trip, and covers laying the groundwork early (camping experience), paperwork and training and choosing an appropriate trip. 385 Hydro Dipping with Nail Polish
Nail polish hydro dipping or marbling is a perfect way to add a splash of color to an ordinary white or clear item, and works especially well on non-porous surfaces like porcelain, glass and plastic. It can provide amazing marbled and watercolor effects with minimal effort.

387 Visioning the Future in GSNorCal
In this year's strategic planning process, we are creating a Council vision and strategy for the next 3 years and beyond. As volunteers, you are critical in our Council and in this process. In this session, we will share the Council's strategic goals for this year, including how to support new leaders, grow membership, improve reward cards, improve training, and support Hispanic Spanish-speaking families. Bri will share her vision and how it aligns with GSUSA strategy and an overview of the steps in the strategic planning process. Then, we want your feedback! We want you to think big and share your ideas for how GSNorCal can best serve Girl Scouts in our Council, grow membership, improve volunteer support, and serve as a model Council in the Movement.
