Discoveree is a one-day learning event for Girl Scout volunteers and leaders that provides a mixture of training, skills, and crafts that will enrich your troop's Girl Scout experience. It is run by volunteers, for volunteers!

Calling All Workshop Leaders!

It is time to register your workshop to be part of Discoveree 2026.

Do you have a troop program idea, craft, talent, or special skill you would like to share? Then become a workshop leader!

Workshops typically run one and a half hours. If you need more time, we can schedule your class to run into lunch time. We can also schedule a double-session workshop.
You can ask that your workshop be put in an early session if you need paint to dry, cement to harden, or glue to set before participants take their crafts home.
You get a small allowance per participant to cover the cost of printing handouts and craft or food supplies - reimbursed by Council after the event.
We treat you to lunch as a thank you.
You can attend the rest of Discoveree for free.
We have helpful volunteers that can help you figure out how to take your talent/skill/knowledge and turn it into a great Discoveree workshop - just ask!

Who Runs the Workshops?

Workshops are run by Council staff, Trainers, and Volunteers who have expertise they are willing to share. Do you have a talent, special skill, troop program idea, or craft you would like to share? Then become a workshop leader! We recruit for workshops in August-October for the following year's Discoveree (click the link below to get on our list).

What Can I Learn at Discoveree?

We organize workshops by Girl Scout Level (Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior, Ambassador) and program area (Troop, STEM, Outdoor, Songs & Games, and Crafts & Personal Interest). Whatever you want to get out of Discoveree, there is something for you!
