Covid-19 Protocols
The Discoveree Committee continues to closely monitor the status of Covid-19. After much debate, the Committee has determined that everyone attending Discoveree 2022 must be completely vaccinated for Covid-19 as defined by the CDC. While boosters are not currently required, we highly recommend that everyone get one. We understand that this is private information and will treat it with the utmost care. All information received regarding Covid-19 vaccinations will be destroyed three weeks after the event once we no longer need it for contact tracing and verification purposes.
Covid-19 Protocols:
After much debate and in consultation with council and based on the site's Covid-19 policies, we have instituted the following Covid-19 protocols:
By attending Discoveree you are agreeing to abide by these protocols:
By attending Discoveree you are agreeing to abide by these protocols:
- Everyone in attendance must be completely vaccinated for Covid-19 as defined by the CDC's Covid-19 primary series.
- Everyone must wear their Discoveree pin/name tag in a visible location while at the event to show that they have been 'Covid Cleared' when they checked in at the gate.
- Everyone must wear a mask while indoors. We highly recommend surgical, KN95, or N95 masks. (We are aware that mask guidance for Alameda County may change but we are required to comply with the site's Covid-19 policies which require the use of masks indoors).
- All food and beverages must be consumed while outdoors (this is a site requirement).
- Everyone is on their Girl Scout Honor to stay home if they are feeling any symptoms of Covid-19.
Proof of Vaccination Options:
- Digital COVID-19 Vaccination Record (QR Code)
- Picture of your Covid-19 Vaccination Record Card
We are defining "fully vaccinated" using the CDC's guidance for completion of the Covid-19 Vaccine Primary Series. We encourage everyone to get their booster shot as the CDC's guidance may change. If it does, we will work with Council to determine if we will change our definition as well.

Volunteers & Council Staff

Below we have a FAQ just for you, our volunteer crew. |
We are so excited to be getting back to the core of what makes this event great: a bunch of Girl Scout Volunteers in a room helping to make each other better! |
